The Il Papiro brand was founded in Florence and is synonymous with the excellence of Italian quality in the production of hand-decorated paper, still crafted according to traditional methods and 17th-century artisanal techniques, of which it is a guardian and witness worldwide.

The high-quality production of Il Papiro, still carried out using traditional methods and processes, includes products entirely covered with marbled paper, such as bookbinding items (journals, notebooks, address books, photo albums); office accessories (pen cases, letter trays, note organizers, photo frames, and boxes of various shapes and sizes); sheets of marbled paper, stationery, cards, place cards, ex-libris, and classic leather goods.
Il Papiro around the world
Il Papiro opened its first store on Via Cavour in Florence on Christmas Eve 1976, solidifying its success in other locations in Italy, including Venice in 1985. The brand's reputation grew worldwide with the opening of two stores abroad: in Palm Beach, Florida, in 1993, and in Melbourne, Australia, in 2002.
